Preface

Why this book exists and how to use it

Why This Exists

I was studying for the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam and the available materials annoyed me. Too slow, too much filler, too many tangents about services the exam barely mentions. I wanted something that just got to the point. So I built it.

This is a cram guide shaped like a book. Each lesson teaches one thing, then asks you about it. No lecture videos. No fluff.

Who It's For

Designed for beginners with basic tech literacy but zero prior AWS experience. You must complete every quiz before advancing to the next section.

How It's Laid Out

The chapters follow the AWS Academy module order because the topics stack naturally: concepts first, then economics, infrastructure, security, core services, architecture, and finally exam prep.

How to Use It

Read a lesson. Take the quiz. If you score below 85%, reread and try again. That's it. The navigation at the bottom of each page keeps you moving forward.

Chapter-end quizzes are longer, treat them like mini practice exams.

Don't skip around. The lessons build on each other, and gaps catch up to you on the practice tests.
